Spring is here! Where I'm at the weather has been lovely, and all the plants are budding or going into bloom. It has me all inspired to get healthy... -er, and I've found some green-inspired recipes that look super healthy, especially the green detox smoothie, which has ingredients like organic spinach and romaine lettuce. Serious stuff.

I also found a DIY idea for fabric vases from the February edition of the online magazine, Styled., which is free and chock-full of inspiring ideas for crafts, decorations, and recipes.

Happy Friday guys! Today, I'm lucky enough to have permission from Becky Bolton and Louise Chappel, the artistic team behind Good Wives and Warriors (GWAW), to feature some of their work on my blog.

I'm a new fan of Becky and Louise's work, which is incredibly detailed and inventive. The team specializes in wall paintings and illustrations, and they've produced work for numerous brands (like Absolut, Swatch, and Diesel).

To learn more about this talented duo, you can check out an interview with Becky for The Design Files and visit their blog.

TGIF guys! I hope you're all off to a great weekend. For those of you, like me, who are new to blogging and are constantly on the hunt for cool, but simple, things to add to your blog, I thought I'd share how I've been spending (wasting) some time....

I was hunting through some of the fonts on dafont, and found one called "Cool Stuff." -It has things like the rocker chair, camera, radio, and lamp that are pictured above. And it's free!

I love working with fonts when I'm trying to create simple graphics because they're so easy to manipulate. -Same goes for simple clip art, like the dachshund, mouse, and deer antler (which are actually separate) silhouettes, that I found on The Graphics Fairy.

If you're looking for something cool to do with these fonts and graphics, I recommend checking out puglypixel's Photoshop video tutorial on clipping masks. Katrina, the blog's creator, has tons of easy-to-follow tutorials and creative ideas. So, if you're looking for another way to kill some time this weekend, they'll definitely keep you busy!
